For dressy summertime evenings–where even a cocktail with friends at dusk by the pool counts as a special occasion–when the lights go down, the glow steps up.
In formulating Beguile, I knew I wanted a glimmer of shimmer for fashion-forward mermaids who shopped luxury. A velvety, silvery, opalescent snowy white, with an iridescence courtesy of smoothly micronized crushed pearls, our highlighter Beguile has emerged a Nude Envie customer favorite. While it looks modest in the compact, this versatile, buildable enhancer can really pack a punch.
 
My own personal Beguile tip to really step up the glow:
On the small triangle on the back of your hand between your thumb and forefinger, place a drop of two (not too much!) of facial oil. Laneige, Laura Mercier, Caudalie and Tarte all make good ones but even jojoba or almond oil from the health food store will do. With your other hand, use your ring finger to rub into the compact and pick up some Beguile. Mix it into the oil to a smooth consistency. The resulting liquid will deliver a shimmer that will last for hours.
Apply where desired with your ring finger. Furthermore, you can layer it depending on the degree of shine you want and it'll even stay on after a dip in the pool.
On our website, Beguile is listed with the eye shadows but it's really an all-access highlighter. You can swipe it under the brow bone as usual but it also does lovely things along the top of your cheekbones, along the length of your collarbone, on the L-curve of your jawbone, or on the upper lip rim of a cupid's bow.
